Mold From a Roof Leak

This picture shows the extent of damage from a roof leak that went undetected for a long time. 

We inspected the home and presented the owners with a scope of work that needed to be completed in accordance with the IICRC S520 (Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation).

The ceiling in this picture was removed, the wooden studs treated with an antimicrobial solution and restored. An air quality test was performed and the home passed. Mold spores cannot be eliminated entirely, but they will not grow if the environment is dry and well ventilated.
